On April 17, Relish welcomed more than 130 fans for a meet-and-greet with Sounders FC players at Relish Burger Bistro for the Sounders FC Rave at Relish. Fans packed the restaurant to snap photos, get autographs and participate in a question and answer session with players.
“We had such a fun time welcoming fans and players,” said Irene Lin, director of sales and marketing for The Westin Seattle. “The soccer culture in Seattle is very unique and it is rewarding to see the players dedicate so much time to their fans. It really goes a long way, and we could see the joy it brought to some of the younger fans who were in awe of meeting their role models.”
Players Michael Gspurning, Zach Scott and Andy Rose signed autographs and took photos with attendees, and broadcaster Ross Fletcher led a question and answer session where players were put in the hot seat to answer questions from fans of all ages.
The restaurant was a sea of green and blue as fans came decked in Sounders FC gear. Guests enjoyed extended happy hour pricing on sliders, mini corn dogs and more; handcrafted sodas and 21 beers on tap, and an exclusive Sounders FC Sour cocktail, made with Absolut Mandarin, Midori, lemonade and a splash of lime and orange juices.
